NORWAY: Last week I attended a video workshop at Institutt for Journalistikk in Fredrikstad. The beautiful old part of city is a must for everyone visiting the eastern part of Norway. Old houses, a lot of cultural events, charming streets and several historical sites. The best part, I think, is that the whole historical part of the city is in the shape of a star.

The city was renewed in 1994.

There is an old boat construction tradition in Fredrikstad.

In Fredrikstad the moats are giving the city its star shape. In winter people go ice skating around the whole city.
